Description: Odhams,, [1962]. 8vo., First Edition, with fine coloured portrait frontsipiece, and plates in monochrome; original red buckram, upper board blocked in blind, gilt back, red edges, red textured endpapers, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. The first appearance of Heath's anthology. It was later reissued, together with 'Painting as a Pastime' and Thomson's 'Churchill: His Life and Times', as a three-volume set in 1965 [although still dated 1962]. The reissued volumes are considerably smaller. VERY SCARCE INDEED IN THIS CONDITION.
