Folding coloured map on cloth measuring 32 x 25.5 ins (approx. 81.25 x 64.75 cms) folding in 24 panels to 8.25 x 4.5 ins (approx. 17.75 x 10.75 cms); original pictorial card wrappers, wrappers lightly rubbed at edges else a very good, firm copy. The first standard post-war edition, based on the 1930 full revision with later corrections. Martin's 'wavy line' design incorporating the Royal medallion was planned for introduction in 1940 but deferred with the outbreak of war. Browne 96.1.a.2.
