With spare printed labels tipped-in at end. Loosely inserted are two printed Supplements. Title-page designed by Reynolds Stone. The work was privately printed in the Riccardi Press fount by Philip Lee Warner, publisher to the Medici Society. The work as whole lists over 5650 Etonians and Old Etonians who served, of whom over 1150 were killed. Appendixes cover those serving in the Red Cross and YMCA, members of staff of the college, and distribution statistics (with awards, ROH and names of those interned). No fewer than 13 Etonians and Old Etonians were awarded the Victoria Cross. INCREASINGLY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
