Description: Slatter & Rose, Oxford,, 1859. 12mo., New Edition, with engraved frontispiece, engraved and printed titles, 8 steel-engraved plates and engraved folding map, some negligible age-staining; original ribbed red pictorial cloth, upper board elaborately blocked in gilt, back with five flat bands, second compartment lettered in gilt, red sprinkled edges, lemon endpapers, expertly recased, a remarkably well-preserved, bright, crisp copy.
