Description: The Sign of the Unicorn, Cecil Court,, 1901. 16mo., First Edition, with half-title and title in red and black; original green cloth, upper board blocked in black with an elaborately interlaced framework enclosing a unicorn and lettered gilt, back gilt extra, gilt top, uncut, two corners very faintly bruised else a near fine copy. Number Seven of the Unicorn Books of Verse. This copy bears an inscription on front free endpaper reading 'RKH to GLH, fellow descendant of the Ettrick Shepherd' [James Hogg]. All Unicorn Books are very scarce, especially in this condition.
