First edition in English of the first part of Niebelschutz's mediaeval novel-saga 'Die Kinder der Finsternis', first published in Duesseldorf-Koeln in 1959. This first part is complete in itself. The rear panel of the dustwrapper carries an interesting misprint in that the publisher's advertisement for the third part of 'The Lord of the Rings' is titled 'The Return of the Ring'. Uncommon, especially in this condition.
