The recipients are the author's close friends Colonel & Mrs Goddard; Newlandsmith has decorated his inscription with a musical stave captioned 'Ad Dei Gloriam'. The first volume of 'The Musician's Pilgrimage', the autobiography of the famous musicologist, founder of the New Life Movement and transcriber of Coptic church music. Extremely scarce, especially as a presentation copy. We have been unable to trace any institutional copy of this work.
