Complete first edition set but flawed- the Ruskin articles written under the pseudonym Kata Phusin have been removed from Vol. IV (1 article) and Vol V (12 articles), as have pages 211 to 218 from Vol II, which is probably also a Ruskin article although it is not noted as such in the contents listing. Boards and leather somewhat worn and rubbed, endpapers splitting on Vol V, bookplate on ffep (in the name Robert Morris), couple of discreet stamps on title pages, light foxing throughout. One of the earliest and most important architectural periodicals. Complete sets are very rare, making even this flawed set an unusual item indeed.
