The text pages are clean and bright. This cook book was compiled as an accompaniment to the newly created vegetable fat solid: Crisco. The recipies in this book (nearly all of them) contain Crisco - and the introductory pages include how Crisco was invented and how it was the healthiest fat for people to eat (instead of Butter or Lard). ) Quite the marketing tool).
