This copy has the 1st state dust jacket with a price of $1.50. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. There is some beginning foxing and toning to the top rear cover of the book, along with some beginning bumping to the spine ends and corners. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket is mostly clean and bright with some noticeable toning / sunning to the spine and rear cover, along with an inch long semi-closed tear to the top front spine joint. The top spine of the dust jacket has been nicked off and there is some rubbing / creasing to the spine as well. This book was the winner of the 1st New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book Award.. Very Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket .
