B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good- condition and is lacking a dust jacket. The book and its contents are in generally clean condition. The book covers have some bumping, rubbing, rubbing and fraying, especially to the spine ends. There are spots of discoloration / fading to both front and rear covers. Thee text pages are clean and bright. Both front and rear inner hinges have cracked and been carefully repaired. There are several pages that have spots of damage ( small tear, chip missing) "Thomas Fleming (1853-1931) was a political cartoonist who worked primarily for the New York World (owned by Joseph Pulitzer) , New York Sun and Commercial Advertiser. Homer Fleming attended the Phoenix Art Institute and the Grand Central School of Art in New York." It is remembered today primarily for being the location of the assassination of United States President William McKinley at the Temple of Music on September 6, 1901.
