In 1960, she became producer of the "Issues and Answers" Sunday newsmagazine, and she is credited with being the first woman to regularly produce a television news series. She had overall editorial responsibility for the program, and she was awarded a Peabody for her work in 1968. She continued to produce that program until it went off the air."
