The booklet covers have some generalized ground-in dirt and finger markings. The spine of the booklet has tearing, starting from both ends of the spine. The text pages are clean and bright with some beginning toning to the edges of the text pages. There is a very small tear to the foredge of the title page and a previous owner's inked name and address at the top corner of the title page (this copy possibly owned by recognized Hawaiian architect - Frank Haynes). Unfortunately, little information is available regarding the the author / illustrator of this fun look at bowling. "If there ever is a place where a man's big, bare personality hangs out clear down to his number nines, it's in a bowling alley. When he turns around after rolling a ball, you can read him like a book. So those two chicks weren't too far off - they were seeing Joe as he really is - not as he thinks he should be seen.
