The text pages are clean and bright with some beginning toning to the edges of the text pages. There is a very small tear to the foredge of the title page and a previous owner's inked name and address at the top corner of the title page (this copy possibly owned by recognized Hawaiian architect - Frank Haynes). Unfortunately, little information is available regarding the the author / illustrator of this fun look at bowling. "If there ever is a place where a man's big, bare personality hangs out clear down to his number nines, it's in a bowling alley. When he turns around after rolling a ball, you can read him like a book. So those two chicks weren't too far off - they were seeing Joe as he really is - not as he thinks he should be seen. In other words, 'You don't know your friends till you see them in an alley' ". (from the Book). Good .
