(pages printed on both verso and rectos) (approximately 21" by 15" sheets) The newspaper is in Near Fine condition and was issued without a dust jacket. Though marketed as a newspaper, the format is more along the line of Mad Magazine with a six panel comic strip (Bruce Kleinsmith) , scatological art (again by Kleinsmith) , political sentiment (by Phil Sievert) , Anti - Police (unsigned) , illustrated poetry (Patrick Ray Bisconti) and more. The paper is clean, bright and untoned, with no edge wear or tearing. Bruce Kleinsmith is better known for being Futzie Nutzle, one of the first cartoonists to have work placed on the letter page of Rolling Stone Magazine. He was later a regular contributor to Rolling Stone. This local counter Culture newspaper lasted from 1969 to 1972. Rare.. Near Fine .
