There is some tidemarking to the bottom spine end of the first 15 or so pages. Both inner hinges have cracking to the paper and there is some loosening to the spine. "When the United States entered the big war in 1917, I was stationed in Honolulu, senior Lieutenant Colonel of the Infantry arm, and, like dozens of other officers, was aching to return to the mainland and get to work with a regiment.
