The book and its contents are in generally clean condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have light bumping, rubbing and wear. The text pages have signatures and inscriptions from students throughout the book. There is one tear to a text page. "The High School of Commerce, designed by John Reid Jr, exhibits an exuberant Spanish Colonial Revival design with Churrigueresque detail. Sources for the design are the University of Salamanca in Spain and the 1915 Panama-California Exhibition in San Diego. The building is sheathed in terra cotta decorated with interspaced diamond-shaped green and pink tiles. The main entrance is flanked with corbels which are decorated with grotesque figures representing medieval men of learning. The school is built around a columned central courtyard. ". Very Good- .
