Key gives an explanation of cities and bishops' sees, county towns, market towns, borough towns, villages, various categories of roads, rail roads, principal and secondary stations etc. Distances are printed by the roads. Some hand-colouring. Folds into marbled endpapers. There are a couple of small pin holes outside the margins of the map at the top and bottom that seem to suggest that it was pinned up at some point. Small clear stain to sea area by the scale. Good condition in Good original slipcase. Images available.
