In addition to the calendar the almanac includes details of stage coach routes and times cab fares mail deliveries etc. The lists referred to include the peers and knights of Scotland bankers churchmen excisemen masons medical professionals members of the House of Commons officers in the British army and Admirals in the navy and these in such detail that pages 112 to 154 are in effect an early version of the Army Lists of the Victorian period and after. The last 18 pages list the key British military and civilian personnel in India. The boards are worn at the edges though the card is sound the leather spine cracked but the binding sound. G to VG overall. The rear endpapers contain some contemporary hand-written notes referring to shooting (?) in Scotland. Images available.
