The TANGO is a short play, originally published in the Equinox No. 9., and this set includes THE TANGO SONG (words by Aleister Crowley & music by Bernard Page, in 16 page booklet produced on custom hand-made paper, and hand-numberd, plus the sheet music as a folding broadside. While having been referred to in minor footnote in the above Equinox, this Crowly material was thought to have been lost. Neither Yorke or Fuller made note of the item, and no major Crowley collection had a copy prior to this issue. In 1991, a copy was discovered by a book scout in London, and was purchased by Mandrake, thus producing this first, and possibly last edtion of this obscure piece. While Crowley wrote many songs during his life, The Tango Song is unique in being the only one to be published. A rare limited edition of 125 copies only. Tall 4to.
