Binding of recent date with slight signs of age, corners and edges slightly rubbed, leather with small scratches. Old cover sheet fixed on cardboard, title page repaired. Table of contents light-margined. First plate slightly torn at the binding at the bottom. Pages partly with print image traces of illustrations of opposite plates/pages. Pages and plates often very lightly brown-stained, otherwise clean and without inscriptions. 8 mounted plates somewhat darkened overall at the end, one plate detached, one plate slightly torn, one plate with large tear through printed image.
