The original Latin edition of the Heliotropius (a treatise on human vs. divine will) was published in 1627 by the German Jesuit Jeremias Drexel (1581-1638). Metropolitan Ioann translated it into Chruch Slavonic in 1714, with both additions and ommissions targetted for a Russian Orthodox audience. .
