Lord Terence Maxwell O'More was being groomed as a gentleman among the Irish aristocracy but longed to be with his childhood sweetheart in far off Indiana where he was known as just 'Freckles'. Orphaned at an early age in America, Freckles suffered great hardship, but despite his disability of having only one hand, he found work and friendship at the lumber camp in the community of Limberlost, but it also led him to his lost heritage.
