Gilt title and decoration to spine, blind embossed title, ruling and motif of Anatole France on orange cloth boards which are clean and unmarked with no wear. Internally very clean, tight and unmarked with a small neat name, place and date to front endpaper. Dustjacket is complete with age darkening and some wear. Translated by Winifred Stephens. First Crown Octavo edition (First Demy Octavo was 1916). 16 short stories by the author. Uncommon to find this edition in such a good condition with dustjacket. NOT EX LIB B2C. Very Good/Good.
