The author an actress, writer and monologuist noted for her humorous pen and verbal slapstick presents twelve delightful sketches describing the hazards of being born a mimic and being tall. Travel in Japan had it's traumas as she notes that not having the grace, like Japanese women, to rise from the kneeling position, she reverts to the ape in trying to get erect, scuttling about on all fours until she finds a lever like a chair with which to haul herself up.
