He died at the tragically early age of 49 in 1969. In this book he pays tribute to many horses including his own, filled with personal memories, opinions and digressions and horse talk of the kind that would-be horsemen everywhere can't resist, all enriched by illustrations by Michael Charlton and with photographs.
