Internally very clean, tight and bright but with front endpaper neatly removed (although not an ex library copy) and age darkening to rear endpaper. 4 plates and other illustrations and embellishments. 13 short stories, 128 pages + 16 page publisher's catalogue, many with illustrations. An attractive volume by the prolific Victorian childrens writer and a SCARCE TITLE BY THE AUTHOR C3D. Very Good/No Jacket.
