His complete works consist of a large collection of articles on mostly Flemish graphic artists or painters and sculptors. A dictionary of over 700 biographical entries on Flemish art (most of them edited in Thieme Becker to which he contributed). A huge collection (over 1000 pages) of his articles in the Parisian 'Gazette des Beaux-Arts', to which he contributed for over 25 years.
