Description: 2. S.d. (ca. 1850), printed by Lith. Plista, rue d.Lions St.Paul 8 Paris, 46 x 62 cm, plates unnumbered but designs numbered 1-32. (All plates folded in the middle, margins dustsoiled and with some light foxing, one plate rather worn in the fold, with tears, others fine). Rare collection of designs for silverware in the classical French Louis XV style. Plate I depicts a tray, Plate II a tea service named; Thé Olive Riche, Plate III ; Thé 8 Tasses, Gourde orientale, Côtes Anglaises, Plate IV; Service Corbeille, Plate V; Service Louis XVI, Plate VI ; Sugar, mustard & oil, style Louis XV, Plate VII; Coffee pots.. The first three plates are signed by Renault. Plate IV is unsigned, Plates V-VII are signed Ricard, r.des Lions St.Paul 14. All prints bear the same imprint. (French 19th century silverware designs). .
