Description: .: Brugis Flandrorum ( Brugge ) , 1566, format in-folio 31 x 22 cm , engraved title page + (23) nn pp + 288 + (44) pp , with a total of 234 plates (72 woodcuts and 162 copper engravings) representing Roman coins. (complete). Title plate with added blank lower margin ( to fit the size of the text leaves). Bound in later (18th c. ?) full vellum. With two title labels in red leather on spine. small tear in spine but on the whole a very fine copy with a stainless interior.and in an excellent binding. Adams G-833. Pettegree (NB) 13503.. .
