Bound in nicely gilt decorated full brown morocco, with name ''Mayville and its coat of arms on the frontcovere. , all edges gilt. endpapeers in gilt moiré paper. Superb copy in a beatyfully preserved master binding (unsigned). This is a luxury copy of a presentation booklet to promote a new seaside resort at the French Channel coast. The plan included a limited number of expensive villas, a large pier with a chapel-like end building, etc. The plan was not realised. Instead a French resort, with the name of Paris-Plage, Le Touquet was realised. Very nice example of the high spirits and optimism which reigned at the height of the ''Belle Epoque Superbe exemplaire d'un prospectus (en anglais) pour la promotion d'une ville balnéaire. Le project n'a jamais été réalisé. Au lieu, les Français ont construit à l'endroit Paris Page, Le Touquet. Très rare. Suivant WorldCat seul la BN à Paris possède un exemplaire. Les autre copies disponible sont ou des facsimiles ou des copies électroniques.. .
