Engraved title page + 26 engravings ( 6 full page; 20 double page). This item is presented as a collection of 24 leaves : a mounted title page, 23 leaves with the double page engravings folded open (in -folio). We had difficulties in identifying this edition. Usually this Sandrart edition is presented as part 2 of the 1685-1694 edition of ''Des alten und neuen Roms grosser Schauplatz...'' where the number of plates is now extended 36 leaves. Our copy resembles the copy in the Münchener Zentralbibliothek ((4)Bl. 26 Tafeln) (Signum 0014/W2 Art. 44(1 ) Our copy lacks 3 text leaves (?). Sold as a collection of plates, not subject to return. .
