Description: .: 13. Album with 13 full page and 2 double page pencil drawings of lamps and candlesticks, 44 x 29 cm, (Paris, Brussels around 1830-1840 ?). The high quality drawings are designs for metal (copper or silver) candlestick oil-lamps (11), tripods, the 2 double-page drawings depict metal chandeliers. The candlestick designs show fluted and embossed pillars, with floral motives, one depicts a mounted cossack. A manuscript letter which could lead to the idenfication of the artist has unfortunately been removed from the inside of the frontcover. .
