Description: .: Antwerpen, De Sikkel, 1927, in-folio 39,5 x 28 cm, 8 double leaves, printed as a japanese blockbook, containing 9 full page linocuts, the first linocut is also printed on the stiff wrapper, 2 vignetttes and one colophon leaf. The French text ''Légende d'Ulenspiegel'' is also engraved and comprised in the linocuts. The large text initials have been heightened with colour by the artist. Printed in 110 numbered copies, all signed by the artist. This is copy 19 of 100 printed on Hollandsch Pannekoek. Sewn, original wrapper with linocut, the thin spine is damaged with loss of material. Due to this damage the inner margin of the front cover is sligthly frayed. Front cover is also a bit dustsoiled. The interior is stainless. Apart from the cover still a fine copy. The item is kept in a purposely made cloth box. (Bibliography: see Raskin pp. 131). .
