Bound in blindtooled dark blue buckram ( Remnant & Edmonds-London). Nice very well preserved copy. Proceedings of one of the earliest witchcraft trials in Western-Europe; the first in Ireland. The accuse, a wealthy woman of Flemish descent escaped the peanlty by running away. Her maiden servant Petronilla however was whipped and burnt at the stake. .
