Leodii ( Liège ) , ex officina typographica Clementis Plompteux, 1786, in-folio, 39,5 x 24,5 cm, (8) nn pp ( title, index) + 814 pp + (2)nn pp (printed staves only) + CLXXXII pp + 12 pp ( Supplementum). Title printed in red & black and with large wood-engraved vignet. All pages contain printed music, in red & black ( staves in red, initials and some text words also in red). Printed on extra strong paper. Bound in contemporary full leather, raised spine . Upper skin of the leather worn at some places, lower end of the spine repaired with the insert of new leather, interior very fine notwithstanding some scarce thum marks. On the whole in fine condition taking into account the severe use these book has to sustain. Fine complete copy, in good condition, of a Roman Catholic Antiphonery. This is liturgical book of chants intended for use ''in choro'' ( i.e. in the liturgical choir) during various parts of the Roman Liturgy. Copies in this condition are very rare.
