Bound in contemporary full vellum, smooth spine with title in gold, with a contemporary gilt and coloured supra libro on the front cover (with the initials F.C.P.V.H.Z.S.) , marbled edges. With the printed oval woodcut ex-libris of Episcopal Library of Speyr ( Ad Bibliothecam Episcopal Spirens ). Very nice copy with only some light soiling of the vellum. This is the second edition of the first work by Mascow ( first edition in 1724). The author was law professor at the '' Geldersche Akademie Harderwijk '' from 1728 - 1735. In 1730 he was also the Dean. .
