Still a fine/good copy of the first French translation of this classical English text on language philosophy ; in first edition.The first English edition was from 1751. It was a very influential work during the Enlightenment. François Thurot made this translation on explicit demand of the ''Comité de l'Instruction Publique''. He adds an introduction of ca. 100 pp. .
