This catalogue served as an auction catalogue as is clear from a small poster ( or broadside) which is tipped in before the first page. In this poster the autioneer P.L. Mastraeten and the art-dealere Godfurneau announce the auction to be organised in the house of the deceased Monsieur De Burtin. The poster measures 22 x 18 cm and has two tax duty stamps in the right hand upper corner.. .
