Description: S. Omers ( Saint-Omer ) , Thomas Geubels, 1667, in-8°, 14 x 9 cm, (19)nn pp + (1)(bl) + 376 pp , bound in contemporary vellum with yapped fore edge, title label on spine ( label with small loss of leather), with a printed armorial bookplate, with a manuscript ex-libris on the title '' DelaRiviere Cage - 1717 ''. Endpapers with some damage, interior with some minor stains or browning. On the whole still a very good copy. ESTC notes that the lef (+ )10 is entirely blank, whereas our copy contains a prayer by Pope Sixtus IV on the recto side of the leaf. This prayer does not appear to be present in any other copy . The Cambridge and Huntington copies, both imaged on EEBO lack this page. De Backer-Sommervogel Vol. IV - col. 1023. ( does not list the first edition of which it says only that it must have been published before 1654 ). .
