( Antwerpen ) , no printer , January 1718 - December 1721, small in-4°, 15 x 9 cm, 48 quires, unnumberd, unpaginated, first page with a biblical woodcut illustration, each quire is also dated '' Januarius 1718; Februarius 1718; -> December Ao 1721''. Uncut copy, bound in a contemporary half cloth with a blind blue wrapper. With a 20th c. printed ex-libris. Unidentified suite of 48 consecutive issues of Roman Catholic devotional periodical. Each issue (except the verfy last one ) consists of 4 pp. The Dutch texts explain religious beliefs and questions. E.g. the year 1720 is entirely devoted to the explanation of the prayer ''Our Father in Heaven'' whereby each month deals with the consecutive rule. The first quire (Januarius 1718) carries an approbatio by the Antwerp bischop Petrus Josephus and is signed in print by the censor V.A.Bech. The wording however does not give us an indication for the title. '' voor alle die dese Onderrichtingen ...sullen lesen''. This approbatio is not repeated. The last quire (December 1721) compises (24) nn pp. Most probably this item was bound by the publisher/printer at the end of the four year run (and not by a subscriber who had carefully collected the 48 issues). .
