Lovanium ( Leuven ) , apud Ioannem Bogardum, typis Stephanus Valerius, 1562, in-8°, (2)nn pp + 130 pp (leaves numbered 1->65) + (12) nn pp ( of which 5 blank pages) (complete, collation identical to USTC n° 403513). Sewn, bound in later (18th c. ?) marbled wrapper. Edges also marbled. Marginal paper loss at leaf 53 (no loss of text), some minor stains at some pages, genrally in fine/good condition. With a manuscript ex-libris written at the bottom of the title page '' patri Adriano preposito Societatis Jesu Lovanij'' ( inscription difficult to read because partly faded). Joannes Hessels ( 1522 - 1566) was a participant at the Coucil of Trent and worked on the publication of the first catechism of the Roman Catholic Church which appeared in 1566. USTC Nr. 403513.. .
