[I) (4)nn pp + 48 pp (scores) ; [II] 48 pp ( title page unnumbered) ; [3] (2)nn pp + 46 pp ; [IV] (2)nn pp + 40 pp ; [V] 4 pp ( title page unnumbered) ; [VI] (8)nn pp + 46 pp. (complete). This last ( 6th) part has a different title '' Vierstimmige lateinische und deutsche Chorgesänge, ...''. Bound in full modern vellum with gilt title on spine. Fine copy notwithstanding some minor foxing or browning at some page, and a faint stain on the vellum front cover. With a private printed ex-libris on the first fly leaf. ( see Eitner Vol. 5 - pp 145 ; RISM B II - Wolffheim II , 2057). This is a rare and nice complete copy of the motet collection published over a period of 15 years by Johann Hiller , ''Kantor'' of the Thomasschule in Leipzig. It includes work by Graun, Reinhold, Homilius, Rolle, Wolf, Hiller, Kayser, Harrer, Doles, Penzel, Caldara, Fehre, Tag, Neefe, Weiske, Haster und Jacob Gallus. Rare , we could only trace one copy sold at an auction during the last 42 years ( this copy). .
