Tooley item 234. This is a fine copy of one of the quintessential English colour plate books and one of the finest Rhine-Albums ever published. The first edition, in German, appeared in 1819, without illustrations. Schütz designed for this English illustrated edition some beautiful views of Bacharach , Bingen , Boppard , Braubach , Johannisberg , Koblenz , Köln, Mainz , Oberwezel, St. Goar ..[...].. .
