Sewn, original blind grey coloured wrapper with small printed label on spine. Text in French. At the beginning of 1808 France received finally its first national Land Register law ( Imperial decree). The origin of the idea went back as early as 1679 when Colbert tried to install a national system. This report drafted by Albert Joseph Hennet (1758-1828) and handed over to the French state secretary of finance Louis-Emmanuel Corvetto (1756-1821) on November 6th 1817. The report has three main parts. [1] A history of the genesis of the Land Register and the way it has been adopted and carried out since the 1808 law. [2] A detailed survey arranged by ''département''.[3] ''Le Grand Livre Terrier du Royaume de France'' ; that is general conclusions taken from the results sofar. Fine copy of the original edition.
