Hippolyte Rolin (Kortrijk 1804 - Gent 1883 ) was a belgian lawyer who settled in Gent after the outbreak of the Belgian Revolution in 1830. Until 1842 he was an opponent to the belgian state and a defender of the United Netherlands, a so called Orangist. In this pamphlet he attacks the belgian government and opposes its censorship. .
