Probably unique collection of theatre-and opera programs as performed in Antwerp during the third quarter of the 19th century. The '' Théatre d'Anvers '' staged an exclusively French repertoire of plays, operas , operettas and musical comedies. The theatre managed an average of over 100 productions per season, many by French companies coming over for just one performance.. .
