Bound in contemporary half vellum, edges painted yellow, the register contained 396 numbered pages (manuscript numbering in upper corner), 32 leaves have been removed removed at the beginning, the register is dated on the last leaf ; '' Bergerac (France) 1825 ''. Paper quality is beatiful strong laid paper, pure white. All the leaves bear a tax stamp at the upper margin which reduces the usable size of the leaves to 370 x 265 mm for a single leaf , or 370 x 530 ( for a double leaf, with binding pinholes in the middle). Watermark is a stylised tulip with 4 leaves within a coar of arms topped by a crown. ( ca. 115 x 65 mm) . .
