Description: .: 16. Japan, ca. 1890 - 1990, oblong album, 27 x 35 cm, 25 leaves with 50 mounted photographs, some photos have captions in the negative. Some subjects ; Nikko temples , Chuzenji lake , Ueno park with cherry blossoms (two very fine unfaded pictures), Hakone with Miyanoshita etc. Kyoto temples , .... The front cover shows a bridge with a palanquin in ivory, Mount Fuji in the background. Endpapers have been renewed, margins of leaves are a bit soiled, but on the whole the album is in good shape. Most of the photographs are faded or slightly faded but the two Ueno park photos are very good. .
