The first volumes were printed on laid paper. Some of the volumes are ex-library (but nevertheless very clean) and have a small stamp on the verso of the title or/and a printed label on the half title. Very nice set of the only edition of the correspondence of the Plantin press during the years 1555 - 1589.. .
