The periodical covers all aspects of the history of 16th-17th publishing and printing at the Plantin Press, in Antwerp and in the Low Countries. It contains many articles on 16th-century European humanistic culture as Plantin was one of the pivotal figures. Some yearbooks are complete studies in itself.
